Aside from interior design, what are your passions?Photography is one of my greatest passions. I love the ability to capture fleeting moments and preserve them in time. As someone who enjoys traveling and love the nature, being able to photograph those experiences feels incredibly rewarding. Whether it’s a stunning landscape or a quiet moment in nature, I find immense joy in capturing the beauty of the world around me.
In addition to photography, I’m also a very artistic person and passionate about creating realistic graphite drawings. I enjoy bringing life to portraits and detailed scenes, and both photography and drawing allow me to express my creativity and connect with the world in a meaningful way.
In what ways has growing up in Tahoe shaped who you are as an adult?Although I wasn’t born in Tahoe, my roots are in Paraguay, where I spent my childhood. Moving to Tahoe two years ago has profoundly deepened my appreciation for nature in all its diversity. Coming from a warm climate year-round, I've come to truly enjoy the beauty of the changing seasons. Living here has allowed me to fully embrace and appreciate each season's unique splendor.
What brought you to id.3?
My background in architecture has always drawn me to interior design, especially in homes located in places like Tahoe. I’m fascinated by how these homes seamlessly blend the interior with the surrounding natural environment, creating a harmonious connection that deeply influences the interior design itself. This unique relationship between nature and design is what ultimately led me to ID.3.
What are you looking forward to learning?I look forward to learning a lot from Shannon, particularly how to design spaces that make people feel truly comfortable. The ability to create a home that reflects the owner’s personality and makes them feel good in their own space is so important. It's incredibly rewarding to give that feeling to someone, and I believe ID.3 does an amazing job at achieving this.
What strengths do you bring to the firm?I'm highly organized and creative. I'm always eager to propose new ways of doing things and to ensure that we stay up to date with trends and innovations.
What are a few key elements that a Tahoe home must have?A Tahoe home must convey warmth from the moment you step inside. I believe the combination of lighting fixtures paired with wooden accents creates a perfectly warm ambiance that makes you feel instantly at home.
